- Confirm PSD form (g²/Hz, one-sided) matches the analysis tool
- Verify breakpoints, slopes and frequency range against the specification
- Compute and verify the Grms — does it match the expected level?
- Check application — correct locations, direction and excitation type
- Document the PSD and its source in the analysis report
- For multi-input: define cross-spectral terms if inputs are correlated
