Checklist

  • The transformation to standard-normal space is correct for each distribution
  • The optimisation has converged to a stable design point
  • Multiple starting points give the same design point
  • The design point is physically plausible
  • Sensitivity factors sum to approximately one
  • The linearity of the limit state at the design point is assessed
  • SORM is considered if the curvature is significant
  • The result is compared with Monte Carlo where feasible
