Checklist
- Creep relevance assessed and documented (homologous temperature, duration, stress)
- Temperature-dependent material properties used
- Creep model calibrated from test data at relevant conditions
- Initial stress state established before creep
- Time stepping adequate (sensitivity assessed)
- Convergence achieved at every step
- Creep strain and stress relaxation are physically plausible
- Rupture life assessed where relevant
- Creep-fatigue assessed where cyclic loading with hold times present
- Sensitivity to key parameters assessed
- Analysis documented from requirements to conclusion
